Tasha the tavern keeper is ready to guide you through your next adventure! We also have a guide here to help you find the five journals for this Tall Tale. My crew was fighting her and she used her teleport special and teleported under the map, and then we tried to get her to teleport again and then she died and dropped her skull under the map so we wasted an hour of our day for nothing. Killed the first captain, got the key, no issues. Killed the second captain in front of the three heads, spent an hour digging in front of the three heads in every conceivable spot including exactly as outlined in the book — nada.
No Skeleton chest. Super frustrating and basically 3. Good thing we enjoy pirating but damn…. Didnt receive the enchanted compass after turning in the pieces from the skeleton chest. Once we got her on the beach, we harpooned and shot cannonballs at her and were able to defeat her fairly quickly. Took us a bit of time to get her down to the beach however, but worth it. Great catch! Glad to hear we have helped you on many of your grand adventures! Very Easy — Solo it or Duo, if your crew is 2 or less she can be killed in less then a minute.
Very Hard — 3 or more on your crew and she becomes a golden skeleton with an ungodly amount of HP!!!! She was so tough we went to a fort and hit her with an 8 powder keg trap IN A STORM water makes gold skelly weaker we lured her into, and it still took about 30 cannonballs to finish her off. There is no in between this will either take you minutes or minutes. I did this run three times before I figured this out!
Sword charge also works but her skelly mobs make charging a lunge a risky move. We did this tall tale tonight and the chest was not on any of the three islands listed. It was on Lookout Point. The book said the chest was in the southern Ancient Isles.
Maybe it was a rare one or maybe they have added more options for the chest but I thought it might help others to know. Ahoy there! Thank you for letting us know that Lookout Point is a possible location for the chest. We will be looking to add them to the guide as we come across them. Good find! Hello there pirates! We discovered with my friend another island where The Skeleton Key can be founded. Your email address will not be published. Notify me of follow-up comments by email. Notify me of new posts by email. Keep up the amazing work you saved me hours of time on the sea with your guides. After we beat Briggs a Kraken showed up and we lost the skill and failed the mission. There are two ways to do this: Very Easy — Solo it or Duo, if your crew is 2 or less she can be killed in less then a minute Very Hard — 3 or more on your crew and she becomes a golden skeleton with an ungodly amount of HP!!!!

The Rogue Pirate's Bride

I found the female protagonist to be exceedingly unlikeable and so out of line with the time period that it was almost insulting. No properly bred woman of that time would ever act like that and this fact does not make her endearing it makes her grating.

The book also took forever to get to a point and spent far too long on inconsequential parts her arrival home, Guffald's arrival to her home, everything with her brothers, and all the rigmarole involving getting married. Also, why did it take so long for Guffald's mission to be made clear to the she-devil? I often confused Garrick with Guffald throughout the book--but maybe that's just me.
Overall, it was absolute drivel. Female pirate adventure!

If you want to read a captivating Rogue romance with a female pirate, then I found the perfect book for you. I loved her characters Henry and Adele. Again, it's a fun adventure filled with intrigue and action! This romance was well written and I could not put it down, it kept me inter Female pirate adventure!
This romance was well written and I could not put it down, it kept me interested until the end. If you love a romance with rogues, then this book is for you. Looking forward to read her last book in her Nelson Tea Trilogy! Already ready for the next one Worst part about reading books when they first come out is waiting for another!
I loved the push and pull of the main characters. The only thing insight care for was Adeles naivety considering the things she was doing, but overall a great read! Classic historical romance with punch! Captain Henry Guffald is a man on a mission.
Adele Seaton tends to act b Pirates! She attacks a British ship, she attempts to capture it to use to rescue her brother but soon finds herself the captive and compromised in a way that humiliates her.
The result, although not one she would prefer, soon becomes one she desires. A captivating tale of a couple entangled in a battle of wills - Adele Seaton, a young woman struggling against the restraints of society, and Henry Guffald, a man battling the guilt of having nearly failed a past love that now has his career hanging in the balance.
It works well as a stand alone. Mar 20, Cocktails and Books rated it liked it.
I did read the first book, and I enjoyed it. This book is easily read on its own. Both have something to prove and will stop at nothing to accomplish their goal. That happens fairly early in the story and it goes downhill from there. The characters are unrealistic and poorly developed. She throws tantrums and has to be locked in her room by her father.
It just killed the whole image of her character being independent and fearless.
